Q: How many hours do you spend working on my special event?
A: A full-service disc jockey company will normally invest 12 to 30 hours to your special event but it may appear that you are only paying for "5 hours". Consultations, music purchasing & editing, preparation, set-up and tear-down, education and other business related endeavors add up to the overall success of your special occasion.

Q: What is your policy on tips?
A: Although tips are great, Ace Entertainment does not require them nor will an Ace Entertainment Disc Jockey ask for them at the end of an event. Tipping is at your discretion. If you feel that your Disc Jockey did a good job, a tip is a great way to thank him or her.

Q: What if I want songs played that you don't have?
A: If we do not have the song in our database, we will go out and purchase it at our expense.

Q: Can we submit more song request then what fits on the Music Request Form?
A: Yes, Ace Entertainment will be more than happy to take your request in advance.

Q: What type of sound system do you have?
A: We work with several of the top brand names in Pro Audio. Numark, JBL, Shure, Gemini, and Samson are just a few of the names we use and trust.

Q: How many years of professional experience do you have?
A: We have 6 years experience in the Disc Jockey industry and over 8 years in the Audio and Lighting industries.

Q: What's the difference between your Basic Packages and your Formal Packages?
A: The Basic Package is for Non-Formal events such as Back-Yard parties and Non-Formal Dances. Weddings are priced as Formal events.

Q: Will we have a chance to meet with you before our event?
A: Yes, Ace Entertainment offers pre-event conferences.

Q: How do you dress?
A: Both Disc Jockeys dress appropriately for the event. During all formal events disc jockeys wear tuxedos.

Q: What is your payment/cancellation policy?
A: Ace Entertainment requires a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.

Q: How many breaks do you take, and how long are they?
A: We do not take breaks during the events. If there is a reason one Disc Jockey needs to leave the booth/system, one will always be there to insure nothing goes wrong.

Q: Do you have any game ideas so my guests won't get bored when waiting to get their food (buffet style)?
A: Yes Ace Entertainment Disc Jockeys are familiar with several different wedding games to keep your guests entertained during dinner. We also have several different games that we can use to excuse guests from there tables to get dinner.

Q: How many speakers does the basic/formal packages come with?
A: The basic and formal packages both include two 15" Samson speakers which can power a room of up to 150 people. Ace Entertainment offers upgrades for events requiring more power. Upgrades include sub-woofers, bi-amped amplifiers, and extra speakers. See the price list for details.

Q: Do you provide projectors and/or screens for AV presentations?
A: Yes we currently offer this upgrade for all events. The total for this add-on is $400.00 for the projector, screen and audio. Ace Entertainment can also create your video montage/Slide show for $100 for every 10 minutes of footage. All pictures and song choices must be submitted 60 days prior to the event.

Q: Do you have a cordless microphone?
A: Yes we can provide lapel and/or handheld wireless microphones for events.

Q: Do you have a showroom where we can view and sample setups?
A: Sorry, but at this time we currently do not have a Show Room to view and sample set-ups and or equipment.

Q: Can you perform at themed events?
A: Yes Ace Entertainment can, and will perform at themed events. With notification Ace Entertainment can decorate their booth as well as perform in costumes appropriate to the theme.

Q: What if our event venue does not allow fog machines (included in the Basic Lighting Package)
A: The alternative to a Fog Machine is a Bubble Machine. Once booked, Ace Entertainment will contact the Venue and confirm the booking and regulations enforced by that venue.
